Can somebody help me with this virus?

So I accidently downloaded a bad video player and now I have a really bad virus. Pop ups from internet explorer randomly pop up when I'm using google chrome. I tried multiple virus scans and none of them could pick it up. Can anyone reccomend a FREE way to solve this problem.
